Milk Protein Ingredient For Dairy Applications

VIBY J, DenmarkArla Foods Ingredients has launched Nutrilac® Hi-Pro Improvers, a range of functional milk proteins to boost protein levels in dairy products as high as 10% without negatively impacting on taste and texture.
Hi-Pro Improvers are made from natural milk proteins to add more protein into yogurts, dairy beverages and ice creams without damaging the sensory properties of a product or adding dryness or graininess. Potential applications for Hi-Pro Improvers include Greek-style yogurts, fat-reduced dairy products that dont compromise on quality are also within reach, as are high-protein juice and milk blends.
Earlier this year, Arla Foods introduced Nutrilac milk proteins to allow food manufacturers to boost protein levels in their Greek-style yogurts by using their existing processing line technology and dramatically reducing waste levels.
