DARMSTADT, Germany To further strengthen and expand their global customer base and increase their market share in the baking, beverage and specialties enzymes division, AB Enzymes and Barentz have signed a 5-year distribution agreement, encompassing an expansion of the existing preferred representation status of Barentz in the European market and to include international territories.

We are very excited to continue and expand our collaboration with the Barentz Group. It underscores our mutual commitment to provide excellent products and services to customers and the collaboration builds on our key partnership strategy," said Aryan Moelker, CEO at AB Enzymes.

Certain trends, like the gluten-free sector and the use of stevia sweetener in product launches, have grown immensely on a global scale, underscoring the importance of product availability around the world.

Through this intensified partnership we can give our food and nutrition customers in virtually all European countries, including Turkey, the opportunity to work with the whole AB Enzymes product range, which will benefit them greatly in their product development," said Hidde van der Wal, CEO at Barentz International.
