Albion Names GEO Supplier of the Year

CLEARFIELD, UtahAlbion Human Nutrition announced GEO Specialty Chemicals its 2012 Supplier of the Year. GEO, a domestic glycine manufacturer, is one of Albion's key strategic suppliers. Albion uses its high-quality glycine in its mineral amino acid chelates, in addition to other products.

Albion has spent 30 years developing processes and acquiring resources for building a better mineral," said Keith Guetschow, Albions marketing services manager. Suppliers are an integral part of the process, providing the resources necessary to manufacture the most effective, easily absorbed and easily tolerated minerals available. GEO received the award this year because of its exceptional performance on several criteria including quality and customer service."

Albion presnted the award to Joe Shauf, GEO general manager, and Dan Hughes, business manager in Deer Park, TX in January. The two companies have been working together since 2005.
