American Labs VP on USP Panel

OMAHA, Neb.American Laboratories, Inc. (ALI)  vice president Thomas Langdon will serve on a United States Pharmacopeia (USP) panel. Langdon, the VP of quality assurance, will provide expert advice in the Use of Enzymes in the Dissolution Testing of Gelatin Capsules Expert Panel. He also serves on the Pharmaceutical Enzymatic Preparations Expert Panel.

These panels set specific USP standards for medicines, foods and dietary supplements in the USP. In Langdon's newest panel, he will contribute knowledge on how enzymes can contribute to dissolution testing.

ALI has a history working closely with USP, including collaborative testing, materials donation and assisting with test and monograph revisions. In September, ALI, a processor of enzymes, proteins and peptones, named a new president.
