FRELLSTEDT, Germany--AMINO GmbH named Aceto as itsexclusive distributor in the United Kingdom. Suzanne Morgan, Aceto's U.K. andIreland sales manager, will serve as lead point person for the sale of AMINOActives. "The U.K. market is ideal for AMINO because of its size and closeassociation with the U.S. nutrition market," said Lutz Thomas, head ofsales and marketing for AMINO (www.amino.de)."It is a spearhead in Europe that requires comprehensive coverage andattention."

AMINO also tapped Higuchi Inc. as the exclusive distributor ofits Betamino line in Japan. Higuchi will be responsible for sales andmarketing of the Betamino BC/K and Betamino BC/KL ingredients fornutritional applications. The company has been operating as an internationaldistributor of specialty chemicals since 1919.
