AOAC Calls for Comments, Methods and Experts

GAITHERSBURG, MDAOAC is calling for comments and reviews relative to the Standard Method Performance Requirements (SMPR), which have been developed for the determination of Flavan-3-ols in tea, wine, fruit and fruit juices, cocoa powder, chocolate, spices and/or herbs, as well as methods for vitamin A, D, E, and K. In addition, AOAC is welcoming submissions of methods to meet the standard. Methods will be reviewed at the AOAC Annual Meeting & Exposition by an Expert Review Panel (ERP), which will then vote whether to give the method First Action Official Method. Submission are due June 7, 2012.
