BIO-CAT Breaks Ground on New Facility

TROY, Va.BIO-CAT broke ground on a new 15,000-square-foot building to expand the company's capabilities of blending and packaging enzymes.

CEO Chris Shuler said BIO-CAT also plans to hire additional employees by the end of 2013. In 2012, the company completed a separate expansion that included a new R&D facility and additional office spaces. 

BIO-CAT also operates a business in Minnesota, which manufactures bacteria through a fermentation process. The company develops its enzyme and bacterial blends through a combination of technologies between BIO-CAT and BIO-CAT Microbials.
