MADERA, Calif.
Canandaigua Concentrate introduced MegaNatural Nutra Red, a grape-derived color designed to exhibit an attractive appearance and excellent stability in nutritionally fortified and functional beverages. Nutra Red maintains its redness, even up to a pH of 5.0. This grape skin extract is made from dark red grapes with no additives; it has a neutral flavor at standard usage levels. Canandaigua also offers MegaNatural Carmine Substitute, a natural color alternative to insect-derived carmine and cochineal in beverage applications. Color shades varying from pink grapefruit to raspberry can be easily formulated.
