LONDONGee Lawson and Cargill have partnered for the sales and marketing of vegetarian glucosamine ingredient Regenasure® across Europe. The versatile ingredient is created using a patented fermentation process, in accordance with HACCP principles and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).

Cargill is an innovator and brought the first vegetable based-glucosamine to market, with Regenasure®. Our job is to develop that in Europe, making it widely available, without restrictions that some other glucosamine products have, especially from the Far East, across supplement markets," said Jonathan Shorts, Gee Lawson managing director. Founded in 1939, the England-based company specializes in marketing, selling and distributing raw materials for the natural products industry.

We view this appointment as a strategic move in promoting our Regenasure® glucosamine product line in the European market," said Mike Fleagle, brand manager, Cargill Corn Milling. Gee Lawson is uniquely positioned to market Regenasure® glucosamine in this geography as the value added ingredient of choice."

In January, Cargill named TSI Group the exclusive distributor of Regenasure® in China.
