Cargill Names TSI Group Ltd. its New Distributor in China

SHANGHAITSI Group Ltd. has been appointed by Cargill to lead the distribution of the company's Regenasure glucosamine products throughout China.

Cargill is an international company that develops and markets food, beverage and dietary supplement ingredients such as Regenasure glucosamine. TSI Group Ltd. is a Hong Kong-based  global manufacturer and developer of natural products.

This collaboration between these two companies will expand and cater glucosamine products to the Chinese market.

We view this agreement as a strategic direction for our product line to help us meet the Chinese demand for our U.S.-produced Regenasure glucosamine products as well as helping to support the promotion of vegetarian glucosamine products on a global basis," said Mark Christiansen, acidulants product line manager, Cargill Corn Milling North America.

Joe Zhou, TSI Group Ltd. co-founder and CEO, said in a released statement that the distributor arrangement will provided the needed incentive for the growth of Cargill's Regenasure glucosamine product line in China.

A study on the effects of 200 mg of Peak ATP, one of the products developed by TSI Group, was conducted in October 2012 by researchers from Iowa State University. The study showed increase in strength and performance in knee flexibility

TSI Group is also a part of the non-profit U.S.-China Health Products Association that held a conference in March 2012 discussing regulatory advocacy measures and business development activities for China.
