Cargill To Introduce Functional Prototypes for Tweens, Boomers

MINNEAPOLISCargill(www.cargill.com) will introduce functional prototypes aimed at tweens andboomers at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Expo in July in New Orleans(Booth #2133).

The prototypes, formulated with proprietary ingredientsdeveloped by Cargill, will serve as examples of food and beverage solutionsdesigned for specific consumer segments. The companys booth will includemodels of a school cafeteria aimed at youths as well as a café designed toappeal to older individuals. Food prototypes aimed at Boomers will includeheart-healthy smoothies, trans-fat-free cinnamon scones and sugar-free miniaturecheesecakes. Sample food products aimed at tweens will include healthiercookies, chocolate soy milk, beverages, hot dogs and french fries with ethnicseasonings.
