GUARDIANs high-phenolic diterpenes content makes it particularly effective in food preservation. Measured using a leading quantification technique developed in-house at Danisco, phenolic diterpenes is the active component that delays lipid oxidation and maintains the high sensory and nutritional quality of numerous food applications over a longer period. Its applications include preservation of fats and oils, bakery products, meats, dehydrated soups and potatoes, and nutritional supplements, such as fish oils. Adding GUARDIAN Rosemary Extract to food increases the shelf life while meeting consumer demand for natural products.
