Dole Launches Superfoods Campaign

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.TheDole Food Co. (www.dolenutrition.com) is launching a new consumer educationcampaign on superfoods, nutritionally dense foods with targeted health benefits.The campaign will include new logos on Dole fruits and vegetables, designed toinform consumers of the direct benefits of certain foods, as well as thesuperfoods guide (available as a brochure and poster), containing information onwhich foods promote optimum health, appearing in supermarkets and schools.Thecompany is also producing a new superfoods cookbook that will be tipped in275,000 copies of Prevention magazinethis fall.

There are tens of millions of people who want to know abouthow to live better, said David Murdock, chairman. The Dole Nutrition Institute and our Wellness Center willhelp feed the world with that knowledge.
