Enzymotec Supplying Krill Oil to Lupin Ltd.

MIGDAL HAEMEQ, IsraelEnzymotec announced it signed a long-term contract to supply its krill oil to Lupin Ltd., a major pharmaceutical firm based in Mumbai, India. Lupin Ltd. is a transnational company producing generic and branded formulations and APIs for developed and developing markets, with significant presence in the cardiovascular, diabetes, asthma, pediatrics and anti-infective markets.

"Both companies strongly believe that the Indian market holds a huge potential for Krill oil and the issues of quality, freshness and efficacy would play a front role in its establishment," said Boaz Noy, Enzymotec's senior vice president. Gil Kristovsky, business unit manager, Enzymotec, added, The deal is part of Enzymotec strategic penetration to the Asian markets. This launch will be followed by many more."
