QUEBEC, CanadaFruit d'Or, processors of organic cranberry and blueberry ingredients, announced the launch of two new nutraceutical cranberry ingredients.

Cran d'Or Conventional Cranberry and Cran Naturelle are guaranteed to be high quality, all natural and made of 100-percent cranberry, according to Stephen Lukawski, sales and marketing manager of the nutraceuticals division of Fruit d'Or.

Cran d'Or and Cran Naturelle are made from cold-pressed cranberry seed oil, organic cranberry protein powder, whole cranberry skin and natural juice. The cranberries in these products were processed and dried in low-temperatures to preserve antioxidant capabilities and prevent degradation of condense tannins and proanthocyanidins (PACs).

"Both Cran dOr and Cran Naturelle contain a unique delivery technology that offers greater absorption by protecting and shielding the gastric acids from destroying the PACs  in the stomach," Lukawski said. "BIO PAC technology will deliver max absorption of the proanthocyanidins through the stomach and into the lower gastrointestinal."

In addition, the pure cranberry oil is created from a patent-pending manufacturing process that features omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, and tocotrienols. These products will both be available in patented protein powder, whole fruit powder, high potency tea powder, juice extract powder and seed oil.
