Frutafit Claim Approved in The Netherlands

MONMOUTH JUNCTION, N.J.--Sensus America LLCannounced the approval of a "healthy colon" claim for its Frutafitinulin product by the Dutch Public Health Ministry. The approval was granted forFrutafit inulin's use in breads baked by Bakkerij Veenhuis, a unit of RoyalAhold; the breads will be sold under the new brand Vitaalbrood ("vitalbread").

Sensus (www.sensus.us) workedwith Bakkerij Veenhuis to develop the scientific data necessary to support theclaim that a daily consumption of three slices of the bread with 5 g of Frutafitper 100 g of bread creates a well-balanced intestinal flora composition andoptimal colon function.
