Fuji Closes U.S. Office; E.T. Horn Distributing Nationwide

NEW YORK--Fuji Chemical closed its New York-based U.S. office. According to a spokeswoman, Fuji's headquarters in Japan decided to refocus the company's efforts on its pharmaceutical and nutritional business in that country. "However, Fuji will retain technical personnel in the United States through the end of this year," said Yasuko Kuroda in Fuji's New York office.

Fuji will continue to distribute its nutritional products, including astaxanthin and EFAs, through ingredient distributors. The company expanded the role of E.T. Horn in La Mirada, Calif., from West coast distributor to nationwide.
