NEW YORK—French natural ingredient manufacturer Fytexia will release the first publication of clinical research on Fiit-ns, an antioxidant blend, at SupplySide West.

Fiit-ns is a blend of grapefruit, green tea, grape, guarana and black carrot. It has strong antioxidant properties, and it’s enhanced with vitamin B3 to increase the feeling of energy while reducing tiredness linked to active lifestyles.

The 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study was conducted on 17 obese subjects. They received either .9 g/day of Fiit-ns or a placebo, and they were placed on a normal diet with 30 minutes of physical activity per week.

The group taking Fiit-ns experienced increased energy and a greater feeling of wellbeing. They also lost 6.1 kg (almost 13.5 pounds) and had improved metabolic functions, such as cardiovascular parameters.
