BURLINGAME, Calif.—GCI Nutrients USA launched Liposerine™ phosphatidylserine (PS), which has been GRAS (generally recognized as safe) affirmed for use in functional food products and dietary supplements. Liposerine is manufactured using a non-bacterial cabbage enzyme method and is certified kosher. GCI is offering the ingredient as 20-percent PS powder, 35-percent PS powder and 20-percent PS liquid.
