GeniSoy Posts Increased Revenues for FY02

FAIRFIELD, Calif.--On Jan. 27, GeniSoy announcedsales of $55 million for its fiscal year (FY02)--a 55-percent increase overFY01's revenues. The company attributed this increase to the recent packageredesign of the entire line and new product offerings. "We also focusedattention on extending our soy snack line and building distribution, and areexcited to see strong customer response in the form of an exponential return onour investment," said Duke Field, vice president of sales and marketing.

The company introduced three new product lines in FY02--Xtremenutrition bars, soy-nut based trail mix and Praline Soy Nuts. The companyreported it expects continued strong revenues growth in FY03, taking sales up to$100 million.
