MONTCLAIR, Calif.Ingredients by Nature introduced CITRUSHIELD, a high oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) citrus flavonoid formula. The formula is intended for use in supplements to aid individuals in obtaining the appropriate recommended daily intake (RDI) of fruits and vegetables, which are known to contain high ORAC values. The CITRUSHIELD formula is a proprietary formulation from 100-percent whole citrus fruits and flavonoid extracts. The formula contains citrus flavonoid extracts and whole fruit powders from five varieties of citrus, including lemon (Citrus limon), lime (Citrus aurantifolia), orange (Citrus sinensis), tangerine (Citrus reticulata) and grapefruit (Citrus paradisi). There are no added carriers and/or diluents in the formula. CITRUSHIELD is also available without grapefruit.

Customer specific total ORAC values are exclusively available from 5,000 mole TE/gram to 80,000 mole TE/gram. The product is also available in powder and/or granulation form.
