ITC Issues Final Ruling on Sucralose Patent-Infringement Case

WASHINGTON—The International Trade Commission (ITC) today upheld in all material respects the initial ruling of an Administrative Law Judge of the ITC given on 22 September 2008 in respect to Tate & Lyle’s patent-infringement case against Guangdong Food Industry Institute, a Chinese manufacturer of sucralose. This represents a binding and final determination by the ITC.
