Kaden Biochemicals Becomes Symrise Bioactives

HOLZMINDEN, GermanySymrise AG announced that effective Sept. 3 Kaden Biochemicals changed its name to Symrise BioActives to strengthen ties with its parent company.  As a unit with business independence, Symrise BioActives can react in a targeted manner to the particularities of the food supplements market, and is sharpening its profile as a provider of diverse products that strategically complement the Symrise portfolio.

Symrise BioActives has grouped its plant extracts under the umbrella brand Actiplants®. Its specialties business is comprised of highly purified natural substances for food supplements and special applications for the fields of cosmetics and diagnostics. Symrise BioActives also offers a range of rare sugars for cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications. Symrise BioActives also launched a new website.

Symrise BioActives, founded in 1982 as Kaden Biochemicals, has 30 years of experience in food supplements, natural and natural active ingredients industries. It has been a member of the Symrise group since 2006. Symrise supplies fragrances and flavorings, cosmetic active ingredients, raw materials and functional ingredients to a global market.
