Kalsec Bolsters Presence in China

KALAMZOO, Mich.Kalsec, Inc., has hired two sales executives for its Asian commercial team to strengthen the companys development of hop products in China and Asia Pacific region. Anne Chen and Harry Lin will work on product development in the China and Asia Pacific region. They will both be located in the Shanghai, China office.

Chen has more than 18 years of experience in brewing, with extensive knowledge in hops. Lin, a past brewmaster, will contribute brewing supply chain experience. The new hires add to Kalsec's expansion goals in China. The company opened an office in Shanghai in 2010, and in November 2011 announced plans to open an additional sales office, new pilot brewery, food applications laboratory and a state-of-the-art advanced hop extract production facility.
