Kemin Announces New Hires

DES MOINES, IowaKemin announced that Kristen Thomas and John Goetz have joined the technical sales team for the food technologies division in North America.

Thomas will serve as a technical sales manager and be responsible for growing the food technologies business in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and the Dakotas. She has been an active contributor in the food industry, most recently as account executive for Saratoga Food Specialties. Thomas holds a bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

John D. Goetz will serve as a technical sales manager and be responsible for growing the food technologies business in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana. Prior to joining Kemin, he held roles within Williams Foods and most recently Foran Spice Company where he was Midwest territory manager. Goetz holds a bachelors degree in food science from Kansas State University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

In April, Kemin Industries broke ground on its new research and development facility, a state-of-the-art center. When completed, the facility will include two general labs, six shared laboratories and three pilot laboratoriesthe pilot labs will focus on developing products that can be scaled up in preparation for full-market launch.
