Developed with a patented technology, ClearTec coating delivers opticalclarity and stability and eliminates ringing or clouding in food and beverageproducts. Fortification levels in the final product can range between 0.5 mg and1.5 mg per serving, depending on the color desired and/or level ofsupplementation. According to Kemin (www.keminfoods.com),FloraGLO with ClearTec is finely dispersed in water-based formulas even after ayear of storage, and preliminary data indicates a maximum of 12.5-percent lossof all trans-lutein content after beverage processing.
