LONDON, Ontario—KGK Synergize Inc. announced that, in accordance with terms of a binding agreement from December 2007, the global distribution rights to Sytrinol® will return to KGK, the inventor and patent holder of the specialty formula, as of Jan. 1, 2009. Through the end of 2008, Sytrinol—a combination of polymethoxylated flavones and tocotrienols formulated for cholesterol management—is available through the current distribution licensee, SourceOne Global Partners, Chicago.

According to Najla Guthrie, president/CEO, KGK: “This change in supplier will not affect Sytrinol’s availability or delivery and we look forward to working with current and future distributors in continuing to offer this innovative cholesterol ingredient to consumers globally.” Guthrie added the move will increase distributor access to KGK’s new branded ingredients, Diabetinol™ and Dermytol™.
