RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.--Maitake Products Inc.introduced Grifron SX-Fraction. This is a new active fraction from theMaitake mushroom (Grifola frondosa), which has been studied for its ability toenhance insulin sensitivity for controlling blood sugar levels and lowering highblood pressure. The ingredient was developed in collaboration with Harry G.Preuss, M.D., of Georgetown University.
