First, MAK Wood (http://home.earthlink.net/~makwood/)offers MAKSwee-T, a natural flavor enhancer that is less absorbable thanproducts such as xylose and sucrose and can be used to enhance their properties.MAKSwee-T blocks calories from sugar, has generally recognized as safe (GRAS)status, inhibits insulin response and is available as a powder or liquid. Thecompany has also added Natural Carrot Cake Flavor to its line of flavorofferings.
