WESTPORT, Conn.Mantrose-Haeuser Co. Inc. is now the exclusive distributor of HIDROX® hydroxytyrosol polyphenols to the dietary supplement and nutraceutical industries. The ingredient, developed by CreAgri Inc., is derived from the juice of fresh olives using a patented process to recovery polyphenol antioxidants. Testing has shown HIDROX has a high ORAC rating, and is well absorbed and metabolized by the body.

HIDROX is available in powder and liquid forms, and has been affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) for use in food and beverage applications. HIDROX powder is available in three different concentrations of total polyphenols2 percent, 6 percent and 12 percent.
