Natural Health Sciences Launches Campaign for Pycnogenol

HILLSIDE, N.J.--Natural Health Sciences (NHS) launched anincreased marketing program for Pycnogenol, including hiring the MWW Group forpublic relations and revamping its brand advertising program. Jesse Lopez,executive vice president of NHS, said the company hopes to raise awareness ofthe benefits of the French maritime pine bark extract, produced by HorphagResearch. "This outreach campaign will inform retailers and consumers aboutthe benefits of Pycnogenol and educate customers about NHS' dedication tomarketing support, thereby creating a greater customer demand," he said.

NHS also announced that Pycnogenol (www.pycnogenol.com)was awarded U.S. patent No. 6,372,266 B1 for use in reducing pain and discomfortassociated with menstruation. According to the company, the antioxidants inPycnogenol may counteract menstrual cramps by reducing inflammation.
