SANTA ANA, Calif.Collagen manufacturer NeoCell raised more than $42,000 for Vitamin Angels, a non-profit that provides vitamins to children and pregnant mothers. For the three-month promotion, NeoCell promised to donate 25 cents for every product sold through retailers. According to Vitamin Angels, each quarter supplies one at-risk child with a year's worth of vitamin A, cutting the risk of childhood mortality by 24 percent. NeoCell's donation will help more than 170,000 children receive vital nutrients.

"It's amazing to think that you can help Vitamin Angels save a child for just a quarter," said Jessica Mulligan, NeoCell vice president of sales and marketing. "We want to thank our customers for their help in making this donation possible and making a difference in the lives of thousands of children around the world."
