New Seasonings, Rubs For Protein

ST. FRANCIS, Wis.Wixon, Inc., introduced a variety of seasonings and rubs for protein applications that deliver an easy way to add a gourmet touch to meals.
The company's products include Bourbon Street Meatball Seasoning featuring green olives, salami and zesty spices for ground meat blends, as well as a Brazilian Meatball Seasoning offering an exotic blend of South American spices, black beans and coconut flakes. Its Cajun Fah-Yuh Sausage Seasoning is a medium heat seasoning with celery and green onion that works well fresh or for cooked sausage. Its Maple Thyme Sage Seasoning features a taste of fall that works well with poultry or side dishes.
Wixon also offers two rubs, including its Garam Ancho Masala Rub that's a mix of Indian flavors to be used topically on meats and vegetables and a Hot-n-Honey BBQ Rub featuring hints of sweet flavor with background notes of honey and crushed chili heat. Applications of the rub include a variety of meats and poultry.
