Nutrinova Plans Taste Challenge

SOMERSET, N.J.--Nutrinova will host a taste challenge at the Institute of Food Technologists' Food Expo, June 15 to 19, in Anaheim. Nutrinova said it will show that blending sweeteners with Sunett® leads to an improved, more sugar-like sweetness profile compared to individual sweeteners. Two lemon and lime beverages will be offered to visitors, one fully sugared and the other a 30-percent reduced sugar drink sweetened with a Sunett and HFCS blend (high fructose corn syrup). In addition, a cola beverage sweetened with 100 percent aspartame will be compared to a cola beverage containing 30/70Sunett/aspartame. The company (www.nutrinova.com) will also be exhibiting its insoluble dietary fiber, Caromax®, at Booth #5710.
