OmniActive Launches "Lutein for Every Age" Program

MORRISTOWN, N.J.OmniActive Health Technologies will launch its educational program "Lutein for Every Age" in May to communicate the importance of  lutein supplements  for maintaining eye health.

The program will begin on May 14  at Vitafoods, which is held in Geneva , Switzerland. Dr. Jeffery Anshel, OD, FAAO, president of the Ocular Nutrition Society, will attend the event and answer questions about eye health.

"Over time, exposure to environmental and biological stressors, diminishes the levels of lutein in the eyes, leaving them vulnerable to deterioration," Anshel said. "There is a need to try to offset the effects of this stress in order to maintain healthy vision with good habits such as living a healthy lifestyle and consuming a lutein-rich diet or supplementing with high quality lutein."

OmniActive will also launch new product ideas for visual health, which are designed  to help formulators create beneficial products to improve eye health.
