Palatinit Names Tonja Lipp Technical Sales Manager in North America

MORRIS PLAINS, NJPalatinit GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of Tonja Lipp as technical sales manager for Palatinit of America, its North American subsidiary, effective Feb. 1, 2007.

In her new position, Lipp is responsible for expanding the sales activities for Palatinit ingredients in the U.S. This includes supporting the market entry and increased presence of the companys functional carbohydrate, Palatinose. In addition, she will provide customers with new concepts in the application of Palatinits Isomalt bulk sugar replacer to sugar-free/no-sugar-added products.

Lipp joined Palatinit GmbH in 2000. Prior to assuming her new position in the U.S., she developed a broad knowledge of and experience with Isomalt and Palatinose as area sales manager in Europe, a territory that included the CIS countries (with special focus on Russia), Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and the Low Countries (the Netherlands and Belgium).

Lipp earned a masters degree in Food Technology from the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany, and a masters degree in International Business Management and Economics from the University of Applied Science in Nürtingen, Germany.
