PureCircle, Merisant Expand Supply Agreement

CHICAGOPureCircle announced an amendment to its multi-year supply agreement with Merisant Company. The agreement extends and expands the relationship between the two companies, and requires that all Merisant tabletop products that are sweetened with PureCircle stevia extracts will carry PureCircles Stevia PureCircle" trust mark.

According to PureCircle, the trust mark serves as a symbol of quality and reliable sourcing for consumers and is supported by such activities as PureCircles We Grow Joy campaign and the Global Stevia Institute.

Commenting on the new agreement, Paul Block, president and chief executive officer of Merisant said, PureCircle is a driving force in the stevia industry, with their supply chain strength and continuous innovation. Merisant has launched stevia tabletop products in the United States, Mexico, France and Australia.
