SAN DIMAS, Calif.Reservatrol Partners LLC introduced Longevinex(www.longevinex.com), a stabilized redwine extract that provides the health benefits of red wine and its reservatrol,but without the alcohol or calories. It is produced in an oxygen-freeenvironment to prevent spoilage, while the liquid capsules (Licaps fromCapsugel) are produced in a nitrogen environment to preserve the red winemolecules, which are prone to oxidation. One serving of Longevinex provides 15mg of trans-reservatrol from French red wine and other botanical sources,equivalent to consuming three glasses to 15 glasses of red wine, according tothe company.
