Shanghai Freeman Expands Stevia Offering

PISCATAWAY, N.J.Shanghai Freemen LifeScience is now the exclusive supplier of GRAS (generally recognized as safe) affirmed, high-purity Reb A (>97 percent) stevia, produced by Zhucheng Haotian Pharm Co. Ltd. The Zhucheng, China-based company, one of the worlds largest producers of inositol, opened a dedicated stevia production facility in July 2010.

Zhucheng Haotian controls its stevia production from seed to extract, and its vertically integrated supply chain provides complete traceability and increases consistency of the stevia and finished extract from lot to lot. Zhucheng Haotian can produce 1,000 MT of stevia annually, and can warehouse its material in the United States and Canada through its partnership with Shanghai Freemen, or ship directly from the manufacturing facility in China.
