Shanghai Freemen Repping JIVITA Beta-Carotene

PISCATAWAY, N.J.Shanghai Freemen Lifescience signed a four-year exclusive distribution agreement with Hubei Guangji Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (GJPC), Wuxue, China, to represent the JIVITA beta-carotene line in the United States, Canada and Mexico. GJPC will begin commercial production of JIVITA in the fourth quarter of 2011. The products are derived from a natural source that is fermented into the pure beta-carotene form. In addition the USP grade crystals, the JIVITA line will also consist of 10-percent and 20-percent beadlets, cold water soluble (CWS) forms and oil emulsions.
