Solae Co. will debut its Supro® 430, a new soy ingredient for nutrition bars, at SupplySide West. According to the company, Supro 430 allows formulators to replace milk proteins in nutrition bars, reducing formulation costs, while maintaining or improving taste, shelf life and texture. Solae will also introduce Solec™ soy lecithin as a source of choline, and a new high-protein dry blended beverage concept that reconstitutes into a fruity beverage.
