ST. LOUISThe Solae Co.entered into a partnership with Henan Luohe Shineway Industry Group, a Chinesemeat processing company, to build and operate an isolated soy proteinmanufacturing facility in China.

In other company news, results of a blind taste test indicated60 percent of test subjects preferred a beverage containing soy and milkproteins (from The Solae Co., www.solae.com) compared to an allmilk beverage.The trial was conducted at this years Institute of Food Technologists (IFT)Annual Meeting and Food Expo in New Orleans.
