DES MOINES, IowaKemin Food Technologies launched FORTIUM® TR30, a liquid blend of natural and plant-derived ingredients that delays oxidation to maintain color in paprika and red-colored spice blends. FORTIUM TR30 liquid is a combination of Kemins proprietary, natural rosemary extract and tocopherols. It was formulated to be a liquid alternative to traditional synthetic antioxidants. Paprika, a widely used coloring agent known for its bright red color, is used in a variety of foods and is most often judged on color. It is effective in increasing the color stability of paprika powder, along with other spice blends.
