CRANFORD, N.J. The ArnhemGroup (www.arnhemgroup.com) introduced four new ingredients: Flavex LC,Flavorlean FAT, Flavex PLUS and Flavex Protein Flavor Enhancers. Flavex LCis a citrus extract 1,800 to 2,000 times as sweet as sugar for use as a sugarsubstitute in low-carb, diet, low-calorie and diabetic foods and beverages.Flavorlean FAT, a fat substitute made from protein sources, can replace meat orfat at levels of 10 percent, 15 percent or 20 percent. Flavex PLUS is a line ofproprietary herbal extracts with 6 percent to 10 percent rosemarinic acid, highlevels of antioxidants, and antimicrobial and antirancidity properties. Flavex Protein Flavor Enhancers are intended for use inprotein products.
