TOYO-FVG, AstaREAL Fight Oxidative Stress

CENTURY CITY, Calif.A combination of TOYO-FVG pine bark extract and AstaREAL® natural astaxanthin may inhibit oxidative stress, according to a study presented at the 61st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Nutrition and Food Science (May 17-20, 2007). The research was conducted by Toyo Shinyaku Co., the parent company of Toyo BioPharma (www.ToyoBioPharma.com), Fuji Chemical Industry Co., and Nguyen V. Chuyen, Ph.D., from Japan Womens University. In the study, researchers found the combination of the two ingredients could inhibit common diabetes complications, including cataracts and oxidative stress.
