White Wave Makes Inc. List, Announces Control of SunSoy

BOULDER, Colo.--White Wave Inc. announced its appearance on the2002 list of fastest growing privately owned companies, which appeared in Inc.Magazine. White Wave appeared at slot No. 174 on the annual list. White Waveexperienced a 1,191-percent, five-year growth rate, a 300-percent increase overthe rate that earned it slot No. 351 on Inc.'s 2001 list. White Waveended its year with $136 million in sales, and earned its space on the Inc.list through a review of the company's growth in revenues from 1997 to 2001.

In additional company news, White Wave announced its has assumed control ofthe Sun Soy brand of soy milk. The Sun Soy brand joins White Wave's flagshipproduct, Silk, which is the No. 1 soymilk on the market, according to thecompany. The two brands will be offered at different pricepoints to attractvaried consumers, according to the company.
