WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn.Chemi Nutra announced the sponsorship for Austin Jahr, a racer for the  Minnesota Quarter Midget Racing Association (MQMRA).

MQMRA is one of the oldest youth automotive racing series in the country and acts as a portal to advanced forms of car racing. Racers are between the ages of five to 16 years old and drive cars nearly 30 miles per hour.

"We are incredibly proud to be sponsoring Austin for the 2013 season. This is his sophomoric year in racing with MQMRA," said Scott Hagerman, president and CEO of Chemi Nutra States. "Last year Austin showed impressive  finishes and we have been excited to watch him improve his skills."

Jahr's car is branded with Chemi Nutra SerinAid® PhosphatidylSerine (PS). The SerinAid® brand correlates well with the activity of racing as car racing is a sport of physical and mental endurance and concentrationtwo key components PS helps improve. With the increased sponsorship of mainstream energy drinks and energy products in motorsports, these products recieve negative backlash because they contain stimulant ingredients that could be harmful to consumers who are sensitive to caffeine. According to Chemi Nutra, SerinAid PS is a safe alternative to this issue and can be administered safely to its consumers.

Chemi Nutra is the United States' business unit of parent company Chemi S.p.A., a privately held pharmaceutical and nutraceutical company in Milan, Italy. Chemi operates current good manufacturing products (cGMP) certified manufacturing facilities in Italy and Brazil. The company is best known in the United States nutritional industry for its introduction of PS, a dietary supplement that was granted two qualified health claims by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
