CLARISOY Wins Food Innovation Award

DECATUR, Ill.Archer Daniels Midland Companys (ADM) isolated soy protein line, CLARISOY, earned the Food Innovation Award from the Canadian Institutes of Food Science and Technology (CIFST). CLARISOY is the first vegetable-based protein that offers both clarity and high quality protein nutrition for beverage applications.

The CLARISOY product line currently includes CLARISOY 100 and CLARISOY 150. CLARISOY 100 enables 100% soluble protein fortification in beverage applications with a pH below 4.0. CLARISOY 150, the first extension to the CLARISOY product line, is specially processed for use in beverage systems with a pH of less than 4.0 with cloud systems or beverages neutralized to a pH of 7.0 or higher. CLARISOY isolated soy proteins are developed to deliver great-tasting nutritional beverages, including citrus-based drinks, fruit-flavored beverages, powdered beverage mixes, fruit juice blends and fortified waters.

CLARISOY earned the Best Beverage Ingredient Concept award at the 2012 InterBev Awards, and was a finalist in the Beverage Innovation of the Year category at the 2011 Food Ingredient Excellence Awards.
