Ashland Water Technologies Announces Price Hike

WILMINGTON, Del.Ashland Water Technologies (AWT), a commercial unit of Ashland, Inc., announced a global price increase effective immediately, or as contracts allow, by 5% to 12% varying by country and product. Both business unitsPulp & Paper and Industrial Water Treatmentwill implement the increases on most products within its global portfolio.

"Inflationary pressures associated with energy, transportation and labor, combined with cost escalation in regulatory compliance and raw materials make these increases necessary.  We will continue to work in partnership with our customers to help mitigate these increases," said John Schumann, vice president, Industrial Water.
