Cacti-Nea Study Shows Weight-Management Success

BRAM, FranceBio Serae Laboratories will highlight a study showing Cacti-Neas diuretic effect and will showcase its newly organic-certified ingredient Serenzo at Vitafoods, Geneva, booth 940.
An open intra-individual study on the companys Cacti-Nea confirmed its diuretic effect. Conducted at the end of 2010 on 15 women with water retention troubles, the aim of this study was to evaluate Cacti-Neas diuretic effect at the dose of 2g/day during one week. Results showed Cacti-Nea helped to significantly increase diuresis by 27 percent on women with body mass index (BMI) greater than 25 and significantly decrease swelling sensation (feet, ankles and calves) and heavy legs sensation. Most (87 percent) of the women were convinced by Cacti-Neas efficiency at the end of the study, as revealed in a global satisfaction questionnaire the volunteers had to fill in.
This was the second clinical study to confirm Cacti-Neas diuretic effect and shows that it could help to refine the silhouette, according to the company
